Advocate the reduction of chemical fertilizers and pesticides to create a green and ecological tea garden. Yingshan tea, located at the southern foot of Tianzhai, the main peak of the Dabie Mountains, is one of the top ten famous teas in China. Its unique geographical environment has created the unique quality of Yingshan tea. Based on the local tea garden soil conditions and the fertilizer requirements of tea, Hubei Yishizhuang has specially developed a scientific fertilization plan combining special fertilizer for tea and organic fertilizer, and carried out large - scale application demonstrations locally.

On July 22nd, the on - site exchange meeting of the National Key Research and Development Program "Reducing Fertilizer Application and Increasing Efficiency in Tea Gardens" was grandly held in Yingshan County, Huanggang City. The meeting was hosted by the Tea Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, co - organized by the Southeast Hubei Experimental Station of the National Tea Industry System and the Yingshan Tea Office, and undertaken by Hubei Yishizhuang Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. Nearly 150 tea industry leaders, experts, backbones, and production units from all over the country participated in this meeting and on - site observed the demonstration bases and exhibition halls of fertilizer reduction in Yeshanxiang, Zhishun, and Daguang tea gardens.

The Shitouzui base of Yeshanxiang Tea Industry, as the main venue of the demonstration and observation meeting for fertilizer reduction in tea gardens, covers an area of more than 300 mu. Due to its scientific and rigorous tea garden management and exquisite and proficient tea - making techniques, the finished tea produced has a high fragrance and strong taste, which is deeply loved by local tea farmers and foreign merchants. Stepping on the hot sun, the tea in the base sprouts tender buds, welcoming friends from all over the country. Cheng Zhaolin, the chairman of Yeshanxiang Tea Industry Company, introduced the basic situation of fertilizer reduction in the tea garden on - site: "In late October last year, a large - scale demonstration of the mode of Yishizhuang's 38% special fertilizer for tea plus organic fertilizer was carried out in the base, and the effect was very obvious. First of all, compared with the conventional fertilization in previous years, the amount of chemical fertilizers used was reduced by about 25%, but the yield of spring tea doubled, and the germination was neat, dense, and high, which was conducive to manual harvesting; secondly, during the processing process, it was found that the tea was resistant to de - enzyming, resistant to rolling, and had less broken - foam tea. In previous years, about 4.8 catties of fresh leaves were needed to process one catty of finished dry tea, but now only about 4.3 catties are generally needed to process one catty of finished dry tea, and the efficiency increased by 10%; furthermore, the quality of the spring tea produced has been improved by one grade, with a stronger aroma. Compared with the tea in previous years, it can be brewed 2 - 3 more times." The increase in yield, quality, and efficiency are the most intuitive results brought about by the reduction of chemical fertilizers and the substitution of organic fertilizers. The participants visited the demonstration bases of Zhishun and Daguang tea gardens one after another, and the standardized tea garden construction and the comprehensive utilization of the technology of reducing chemical fertilizers and pesticides were unanimously recognized by the observing experts.

At the meeting, Leng Yang, the deputy director of the National Agricultural Technology Extension Center, fully affirmed the demonstration work of "reducing fertilizer application and increasing efficiency in tea gardens" in Yingshan County, expressed recognition of the effect of the "Yishizhuang" product, and said that the promotion department should combine agriculture, science, education, and promotion to strengthen the promotion of this special formula fertilizer. The project implementation units such as the Anhui Tea Research Institute, the Hubei Fruit and Tea Research Institute, and the Soil and Fertilizer Research Institute exchanged the experience of reducing fertilizer application and increasing efficiency in tea gardens and the progress of project implementation; Li Wei, an agrochemical technical expert from Hubei Yishizhuang, introduced on - site the application of the mode of special fertilizer for tea plus organic fertilizer in tea production areas such as Hubei, Hunan, Zhejiang, and Anhui, and made a detailed report in combination with the feedback and investigation results of the local demonstration bases in Yingshan. Researcher Ruan Jianyun, the chief expert of the "Double Reduction in Tea Gardens" project, gave an academic report entitled "Promote Scientific Fertilization and Promote the Green Development of the Tea Industry" and arranged the specific work of the "Reducing Fertilizer Application and Increasing Efficiency in Tea Gardens" project in the next step. The participants all said that the achievement display of fertilizer reduction in Yingshan tea gardens played a benchmarking role and they benefited a lot.

As an advocate and pioneer of reducing fertilizer application and substituting organic fertilizers, Yishizhuang has successively developed innovative products for different crop types and models for reducing fertilizer and increasing efficiency, which have been continuously recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture and domestic authoritative experts. This is the result of the company's scientific development and in - depth work at the grassroots level. Remaining true to its original aspiration and continuously innovating, Yishizhuang is moving forward!
