From August 10th to 12th, 2019, the 2019 Annual Summary Meeting of the National Key Research and Development Program "Integrated Research and Demonstration of Technologies for Reducing the Application of Chemical Fertilizers and Pesticides in Rapeseed" was held in Wuhan. The meeting was presided over by Professor Lu Jianwei from Huazhong Agricultural University, the chief scientist of the project. Approximately 140 project experts and backbones from various participating units across the country attended this summary meeting. Hubei Yishizhuang Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., as a sub-project unit of the eighth project of the project, participated in this meeting and summarized and reported on the relevant work of the sub-project "Research, Development and Demonstration of Special Slow-release Fertilizers for Rapeseed".
From August 10th to 11th, at the beginning of the meeting, Professor Lu Jianwei, the chief scientist of the project, made a systematic summary of the previous work and pointed out that this meeting needed to be carried out with great precision to achieve five goals: (1) Make full use of the achievements summarized in this conference; (2) Learn from each other and improve oneself; (3) Build a better common technology platform; (4) Discover problems in a timely manner and fill in the gaps; (5) Plan the upcoming autumn sowing plan and scheme well. Under the clear guidance of Professor Lu Jianwei, more than 70 backbones of the project team respectively reported the research progress and achievements of their research groups, analyzed the existing problems and put forward the research plans and arrangements for the next quarter.
Liao Tingting, the agrochemical service technician of our company, made a detailed report on the relevant work of the sub-project "Research, Development and Demonstration of Special Slow-release Fertilizers for Rapeseed" and made key explanations on the research work and progress. Relying on the project expert group and the large platform of the National Agricultural Technology Extension Center, the company carried out multi-point experimental demonstrations of special slow-release fertilizers in the winter rapeseed production areas across the country, and continuously improved and perfected the slow-release fertilizers according to the experimental results to achieve the most suitable ratio and content. Currently, the cumulative radiated promotion area in actual production is approximately 400,000 mu. The product has the advantages of achieving the best ratio of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium according to the growth law of rapeseed; reasonably adding medium and trace elements; the mutual integration of organic and inorganic nutrients; using the slow and controlled release technology to achieve one-time fertilization for the whole process; and matching with relevant technologies such as optimized fine varieties, green prevention and control, full-process mechanization, and suitable cultivation models to realize "simultaneous sowing of seeds and fertilizers".
The research, development and demonstration work of special slow-release fertilizers for rapeseed have been unanimously recognized by the expert group, and its integrated demonstration effects in winter rapeseed production areas such as Hubei, Hunan, Anhui, Sichuan, Chongqing, Jiangsu, Shaanxi, and Yunnan have also been fully affirmed by local experts. Professor Lu Jianwei, the chief scientist of the project, said that in the next quarter, it is necessary to continue to strengthen the close combination with the key technologies of the common research group, continue to increase the demonstration intensity of special slow-release fertilizers for rapeseed, and formulate relevant fertilization technical regulations for the region.
At the end of the meeting, Professor Lu Jianwei said that the meeting reports of the person in charge of each project were all wonderful, and the experimental and demonstration effects in various regions were very accurate and excellent. It is required that each participating unit should further summarize, learn from others' reports, draw on their strengths to offset their weaknesses, study the research achievements of common technologies, summarize the supporting technical models, and make full use of them in the formulation of this year's autumn sowing plan. In addition, adjustments and arrangements were also made for the use of project funds, and the work of "one standard, one journal, one book, and one website" planned to be organized by the project was further deployed.
On August 12th, Director Wang Jijun of the Oil Crops Technology Division of the National Agricultural Technology Extension Center and Professor Lu Jianwei, the chief scientist of the "Two Reductions in Rapeseed" project, organized and carried out the "Promotion Meeting for the Demonstration and Application of the Technical Model for Reducing the Application of Chemical Fertilizers and Pesticides and Increasing Efficiency in Rapeseed", aiming to understand the rapeseed planting situations and problems in 15 key demonstration counties in 12 main rapeseed production provinces across the country, strengthen the transformation of the achievements of the "Two Reductions in Rapeseed" project, and further increase the intensity of demonstration and promotion.
By participating in this summary meeting, we have a detailed understanding of the application standards of Yishizhuang's special slow-release fertilizers for rapeseed in various regions, which is very useful reference information for accurately determining the ratios and dosages of special fertilizers for winter rapeseed in different ecological regions. Promote the "Two Reductions in Rapeseed", accelerate the transformation of achievements, achieve precision, greenness and high efficiency. Let's work harder in the next season!
