In January, northern China is swept by bitter cold winds, while the south sees cold drizzles, putting farmland into the winter fallow period. Nevertheless, a vigorous upsurge of preparation for spring ploughing is sweeping across rural markets nationwide. Distribution outlets of Hubei Yishizhuang at all levels across the country are busy holding various meetings and events to fully gear up for the upcoming spring farming season.

At the turn of the year, annual summary meetings, order fairs and technical training sessions form the trio of Yishizhuang’s winter stockpiling initiatives. Focusing on different yet closely interconnected objectives, these activities review the achievements and experience of the past year, launch new products and annual policies, and deliver scientific planting solutions through professional training, forming a complete and integrated service system.

Events have been successively held across northern and southern regions, ranging from Zigui, Jingzhou and Xishui in Hubei, Zhuzhou in Hunan, to Maanshan in Anhui, Yongqing in Hebei and Shangcai in Henan.

Each region adopts localized and innovative activity forms tailored to local customs. In Zhuzhou, Hunan, a lively and festive local pork feast filled with New Year vibes served as a distinctive gathering, enabling efficient technical exchanges and business negotiations in a relaxed and warm atmosphere.

“More than 70% of spring ploughing orders are reserved in winter,” said Liu Derui, Marketing Director of Yishizhuang. For distributors, winter stockpiling not only secures sales volume ahead of the peak season and eases warehouse pressure from centralized spring procurement, but also enables the manufacturer to allocate supplies more precisely, ensuring timely and sufficient supply to meet regional market demands in spring.

While cold weather prevails outdoors, heated discussions fill every indoor venue. The industry-wide consensus of winter stockpiling for spring growth helps farmers improve professional skills during the agricultural off-season, and supports enterprises in optimizing their annual operation rhythm.
