【Corporate Dynamics】Innovating and Developing Green Value-Added Special Fertilizers

On August 9, 2025, at the "2025 Hubei Yishizhuang Green Value-Added Fertilizer Innovation and Development Conference" held in Zhengzhou, Henan, Hubei Yishizhuang Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Regional Planning of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS). The two parties will jointly research, develop and promote green value-added special fertilizers.

As a benchmark enterprise in the formulated fertilizer industry, Hubei Yishizhuang Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. relies on more than 30 years of technical accumulation and continuous innovation capabilities. Its products are sold well overseas and in more than 30 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) across China, and it has always maintained a leading position in the agricultural fertilizer field. The Institute of Agricultural Resources and Regional Planning of CAAS is a national public welfare comprehensive research institution led by agricultural resource utilization and agricultural resource zoning. It has 16 research directions in core research fields such as soil, plant nutrition and fertilizers, agricultural microbial resources and utilization, agricultural ecology, agricultural remote sensing and information, and agricultural regional development.

Through this cooperation, the two parties will jointly establish a new "academy-enterprise" development mechanism. Guided by the market, they will set up a green value-added fertilizer R&D center and build a "five-in-one" innovation platform integrating technology R&D, product development, industrial transformation, brand building, and demonstration and promotion. This will promote in-depth integration of "industry-university-research-application", comprehensively drive the green transformation and upgrading of fertilizer products, and accelerate the formation of a development pattern of "systematic products and synergistic brands" for Hubei Yishizhuang.

Liu Zufeng, Chairman of Hubei Yishizhuang, said: "This cooperation will accelerate the company's scientific and technological innovation process, promote the efficient transformation of agricultural scientific and technological achievements, and provide stronger support for the development of modern agriculture." Chen Baorui, Director of the Achievement Transformation Department of the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Regional Planning of CAAS, stated: "We will align with Hubei Yishizhuang's needs in product development, technical services and brand building, and strive to build Yishizhuang into a model enterprise for the green transformation of the fertilizer industry."

The signing of this agreement between the two parties is of important strategic significance for promoting the green transformation and upgrading of China's fertilizer industry and advancing the high-quality development of agriculture.
