It is understood that with the development of the industry, the potato - planting area in Lichuan City has been increasing year by year, and the base - planting mode has also been widely promoted. However, due to phenomena such as unreasonable fertilization, pesticide application, and management, there is fertilizer waste and low utilization rate, resulting in problems such as soil compaction. At the same time, the yield of potatoes has not been able to develop stably.

In response to national policies such as reducing chemical fertilizers, partially substituting organic fertilizers, increasing potato yield and improving quality, and to help the sustainable development of the local potato industry, the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau of Lichuan City has carried out experimental demonstrations of reducing fertilizer application and increasing efficiency in potatoes locally. It has integrated and promoted the technology of using special fertilizers for tuber crops (Yishizhuang brand) and organic fertilizers (Yishizhuang brand) to partially substitute chemical fertilizers, the standardized planting technology with plastic film mulching, and the green prevention and control technology for potato diseases and pests. The cumulative promotion area has reached 4,000 mu.

In this harvest season, the expert team personally went to the fields to check the experimental results, dug potatoes on - site for yield measurement, and professionally evaluated the results of the integrated technologies. According to the on - site yield measurement, the potatoes have a round and plump appearance and a high commercial rate. The average yield per mu reaches 2,231 kilograms, which is 26.1% higher than the average yield in the non - demonstration area. Compared with customary fertilization, the special fertilizer for tuber crops reduces the amount of pure chemical fertilizer nutrients by 4 kg/mu, while increasing the potato yield by 114.5 kg/mu and increasing the output value by 207.2 yuan/mu. Compared with customary fertilization, the technology of using organic fertilizers to partially substitute chemical fertilizers reduces the amount of pure chemical fertilizer nutrients by 13.6 kg/mu, increases the potato yield by 190.5 kg/mu, and increases the output value by 304.8 yuan/mu.


 


 


The expert group unanimously believes that the integrated demonstration of technologies such as reducing chemical fertilizers, partially substituting organic fertilizers, plastic film mulching, and green prevention and control this time is very successful and worthy of being vigorously promoted in future production. Large - scale planting areas such as cooperatives and bases can adopt the full - set integrated technology model to achieve the effects of cost - saving, efficiency - increasing, and double - harvest of production and profit.
