Provincial Training Course on High-Quality Development of Citrus Industry Inspects Yipin Gong Base

Amid the golden citrus orchards, Yipin Gong high-quality orchard base under Yishizhuang Group welcomed the on-site inspection by delegates of the Provincial Citrus Industry High-Quality Development Training Course.

Recently, the Provincial Citrus Industry High-Quality Development Training Course was successfully held in Yiling District, Yichang City, Hubei Province. Luo Kun, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of Hubei Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Bao Jiangfeng, Director of the Provincial Fruit and Tea Office, Fan Xiuyuan, Director of the Provincial Plant Protection General Station, Sun Jinsong, Director of Yichang Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and other officials attended the event. Qin Liang, Deputy District Chief of Yiling District People’s Government, accompanied the delegates to conduct a field visit to the unified prevention and control demonstration base for citrus diseases and pests of Yipin Gong Agricultural Professional Cooperative.

At the inspection site, Xie Heping, Deputy Director of the District Agricultural Technology Service Center and Director of Yichang Mandarin Comprehensive Experimental Station of the National Citrus Technology System, delivered an on-site briefing. He elaborated on the development philosophy, technical approaches and management models of Yipin Gong high-quality orchards, and shared the innovative practices of the base in variety selection, cultivation management and quality improvement.

As a demonstration site for unified prevention and control of citrus diseases and pests in Yiling District, the base strictly adheres to the principles of machine-friendly orchard construction, intelligent management, precise pesticide and fertilizer application, and labor-saving operation. Equipped with intelligent facilities and digital management systems, it realizes refined whole-process management from cultivation to sales.

After the visit, all delegates remarked that this field study provided replicable and promotable practical examples for improving the quality and efficiency of the citrus industry, and would inject new momentum into the high-quality development of the citrus industry across Hubei Province.
