On July 19, 2025, Changde Agricultural Society, in conjunction with Changde Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences, organized agricultural experts to conduct a field yield measurement on the effect of applying Yishizhuang rice controlled-release fertilizer to the early rice variety "Zhong'an Zao 35". The results showed that Yishizhuang rice controlled-release fertilizer significantly increased rice yield by approximately 9.8% to 13.9% compared with the control plot, while reducing the number of fertilizations and the amount of fertilizer used. This provides a new solution for green and efficient agriculture.

It is understood that the experiment was carried out at the rice research base of Changde Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences. In the plot treated with Yishizhuang fertilizer, 47% special slow and controlled-release fertilizer (N-P₂O₅-K₂O: 25-10-12) was applied at one time, with an application rate of 40 kg per mu, and only 5 kg of urea was top-dressed after the rice turned green. In contrast, the control plot was applied with 51% compound fertilizer, urea, and potassium chloride in three separate applications, resulting in more top-dressing times and a higher total fertilizer dosage.

At the yield measurement site, the expert group observed that the rice in the plot with Yishizhuang rice controlled-release fertilizer grew evenly and steadily, with thick and strong stems, green leaves and yellow grains, and plump panicles and grains, showing outstanding performance. This fully achieved the effects of sufficient nutrient supply and precise fertilizer release. On the other hand, the control plot with conventional fertilization may have experienced excessive growth and delayed maturity due to excessive fertilizer, and also suffered lodging in certain areas due to recent strong winds.

This experiment not only verified the yield-increasing effect of controlled-release fertilizer, but also demonstrated the advantages of "controlling quantity and enhancing efficiency", reducing labor input and the risk of environmental pollution. It provides a strong scientific basis for green and high-yield rice cultivation and is expected to be further promoted in the future, contributing to the sustainable development of agriculture.
