In May 2018, Hubei Yishizhuang, in conjunction with the Cultivated Land and Fertilizer Station of Zhijiang City, carried out a series of experimental demonstrations of Yishizhuang's special controlled-release fertilizer for rice in Xiannv Town, Zhijiang City. In order to achieve the practical goal of helping farmers reduce costs and increase efficiency, Hubei Yishizhuang Company introduced advanced controlled-release fertilizer technology and combined it scientifically and reasonably with the original 40% (22-6-12) special fertilizer for rice, striving to achieve more accurate controlled-release time and more precise controlled-release amount.

The experimental field was carried out in eight small plots. Treatments 2 to 7 used six different proportions of special controlled-release fertilizers for rice. Treatment 1 did not apply nitrogen fertilizer but only applied phosphorus and potassium fertilizers, and Treatment 8 adopted the farmers' customary fertilization method. All of them used the same amount of fertilization and applied the base fertilizer once to manage the whole process.

After going through the hot summer, the rice ushered in the harvest season, and the experimental effect of Yishizhuang's special controlled-release fertilizer for rice also shined brightly in this golden experimental field. The staff of the Cultivated Land and Fertilizer Station of Zhijiang City and the agrochemical staff of Yishizhuang investigated the relevant traits of the rice in the experimental field, such as plant height, panicle length, the number of effective panicles, the number of filled grains, and the lodging rate, and made a detailed comparison and analysis of the factors constituting the yield and quality.

In the plots where the controlled-release fertilizer for rice was applied, the rice grains were plump, there were many effective panicles, and the flag leaves were upright. In the experimental field with customary fertilization, there were relatively more empty and 瘪 grains of rice. Many rice grains had just started to fill, showing a greenish-yellow color, and the phenomenon of excessive greenness and late maturity was common, which had a serious impact on the rice yield.


With the help of Boss Tian, the demonstration household, we conducted a professional yield measurement on the experimental field. The yield of the plots with Yishizhuang's special controlled-release fertilizer for rice was generally higher than that with customary fertilization. Boss Tian said that having witnessed the growth of the experimental field all the way, this result was within his expectations.

Although the cultivation technology of rice is relatively mature, if we want to achieve high yield, high quality, and labor savings, there are still many aspects to study in terms of plant nutrition alone. Yishizhuang's special controlled-release fertilizer for rice is a special-purpose fertilizer customized according to the needs of farmers. It is a national patent product and a recommended product of the national modern agriculture system. It is a good helper for farmers and a good manager for reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
