From April 15th to 16th, 2017, the Working Conference and On-site Observation Meeting of the Cultivation and Nutrition Research Office of the National Rape Industry Technology System were successfully held in Shayang County, Jingmen City, Hubei Province. On the morning of April 15th, the expert team of the position system drove to the rape experimental demonstration base in Zengji Town, Shayang County under the leadership of Professor Lu Jianwei from Huazhong Agricultural University. This base utilizes the scientific research achievements of the Rape Nutrition Management and Cultivation Management Research Groups of Huazhong Agricultural University over the years and summarizes ten technical points, including straw return to the field, unified seed supply, precise direct seeding, dense planting with fertilizer saving, soil testing and formula fertilization (Yishizhuang's special fertilizer for rape), comprehensive prevention and control, and full-process mechanization. It is the core experimental demonstration area for high-yield and high-efficiency nutrient management of rape by Huazhong Agricultural University, the Rape Office of Hubei Province, the Hubei Provincial General Station of Cultivated Land Quality and Fertilizer Work, and the Shayang County Agricultural Bureau. At the observation meeting site, combined with the water-land rotation system of the region's natural resource conditions and comprehensive development advantages, Professor Lu Jianwei took rice-rape and rice-corn as examples to focus on explaining the crop nutrient requirements in the rotation system and the soil fertility improvement function of rape as a crop for land use and maintenance. In view of the high incidence rate and large incidence area of clubroot disease in the current main rape production areas, Professor Zhou Guangsheng and Professor Zhang Chunyu respectively gave a series of explanations on the comprehensive prevention and control technology of clubroot disease and the R & D direction of new clubroot-resistant varieties. In view of the current problems of large amount of rape fertilization, unreasonable operation and high labor cost input, Associate Professor Ren Tao and Professor Zhou Guangsheng respectively gave a comprehensive explanation on the current rape nutrient management and the application of simplified management technology in the whole growth period of rape.

Professor Lu Jianwei, Researcher Zhang Chunlei, Researcher Zhang Shufen, Researcher Song Laiqiang and the directors of the comprehensive experimental stations of the rape position system reported and exchanged on the research progress of the rape industry system, the implementation of the experiment, the phased results, the technical needs and target tasks of the production area in the next year and so on. In the exhibition room of Yishizhuang Company, Dr. Liu Bo gave a detailed explanation of the enterprise's development background, production processes and product characteristics of a series of products such as special formula fertilizers, organic fertilizers and water-soluble fertilizers, and actively answered the questions raised by everyone. In the blended fertilizer production workshop, the visitors asked a lot of questions related to the R & D of fertilizer formulas, such as how to design formulas according to crops, the feedback and correction of formulas, the addition of trace elements in specific crops, and the effect of slow and controlled release materials. Everyone showed a strong interest in the enterprise's R & D background and product technical characteristics. Many experts suggested that the enterprise carry out experimental research in their own regions.
