[Focus] True Skills Demonstrated at the Observation Meeting - Wheat (A Trip to Xiangyang)

With the arrival of summer, the wheat that has endured the severe winter and nurtured countless plump grains for as long as eight months is about to be harvested. In this season, the Agricultural Bureau of Yicheng City, Hubei Province organized a on-site observation meeting in Xiaohe Town. The meeting focused on the supporting technologies for wheat cultivation, the technology of returning straw to the field, as well as the demonstration of the effects of seeds and fertilizers (special fertilizers for wheat). The directors of agricultural technology centers in various townships of Yicheng City led two large-scale farmers to participate in this meeting.  

Hubei Yishizhuang Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., as the manufacturer of the special fertilizer for wheat, was invited to participate in this observation meeting. In the wheat experimental field, the fertilizer used was a comparison between 40% Yishizhuang special fertilizer for wheat and 45% fertilizer from a well-known enterprise.

     The technical personnel of the local cooperative said to the participants regarding the effect of the special fertilizer for wheat: "By comparison, the effect of Yishizhuang special fertilizer for wheat is outstanding. Firstly, in the later stage, the field plots where 40% Yishizhuang special fertilizer for wheat was used as the base fertilizer did not require topdressing, while the field plots where 45% fertilizer of other brands was used needed to add 10 kilograms of urea per mu. Secondly, Yishizhuang special fertilizer for wheat has an appropriate addition of medium and trace elements such as calcium, zinc, and silicon, as well as organic matter. It has a very good effect in aspects such as drought resistance, cold resistance, and disease resistance, and both the yield and quality are guaranteed. However, the wheat in the field plots where 45% fertilizer of other brands was used showed certain phenomena of nutrient deficiency and lodging, and the seed setting rate was also significantly lower than that in the field plots where the special fertilizer for wheat was used."
