Hubei Yishizhuang Signs a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Huazhong Agricultural University

On September 18, 2020, Huazhong Agricultural University and Hubei Yishizhuang Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. held a school-enterprise cooperation signing ceremony in Yichang, Hubei Province. Yao Jianglin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of Huazhong Agricultural University, and Liu Zufeng, Chairman of Hubei Yishizhuang Company, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties. The meeting was presided over by the Yiling District Government of Yichang City.

Relevant leaders and experts from units and departments such as the National Agricultural Technology Extension Service Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Hubei Rural Science and Technology Informatization Promotion Center, Hubei Rural Science and Technology Informatization Engineering Technology Center, Rapeseed Office of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Hubei Province, Oil Crops Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Zhengzhou University, Yichang Science and Technology Bureau, Yichang Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Yiling District Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and Yiling District Science and Technology Bureau attended the signing event.

Hubei Yishizhuang Company and Huazhong Agricultural University have always maintained a good cooperative relationship. Over the past decade or so, the two sides have carried out long-term cooperation in the research and development of special fertilizers for crops such as rapeseed, citrus, and potatoes, and achieved fruitful results. Hubei Yishizhuang Company is a key unit of the National Key Research and Development Program "Integrated Research and Demonstration of Technologies for Reducing the Application of Chemical Fertilizers and Pesticides in Rapeseed" hosted by Huazhong Agricultural University, providing technical physical products for the implementation of the project. In July 2020, based on this project, Hubei Yishizhuang Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. applied for and was approved for the key special project of the National Key Research and Development Program "Science and Technology Boosting the Economy in 2020" - "Maturation and Application of High-Efficiency Slow-Release Special Fertilizers for Rapeseed".

Against this background, the two sides signed a strategic cooperation agreement to further deepen cooperation, give full play to their respective advantages, deepen the research and development of the technology of "series of special formula fertilizers for crops", produce landmark achievements and products, and lead the development of the industry and the sector. At the same time, taking cooperation as a link, through the cooperation between schools and enterprises and the introduction of talents, using the enterprise as a base for cultivating talents, it is possible to strengthen the combination of theory and practice in universities, cultivate truly high-quality scientific and technological talents, and realize that scientific and technological achievements and scientific and technological talents jointly contribute to economic development.
