On April 18, the 2015 academic seminar, organized by the Professional Committee of Fertilization Technology of the Chinese Society of Plant Nutrition and Fertilizers, with the theme of "Improving the level of fertilization technology, achieving the reduction of fertilizer application and increasing efficiency, and embracing the new era of zero growth of chemical fertilizers", was successfully held in Wuhan. More than 130 experts and scholars, including Researcher Bai Youlu, Chairman of the Chinese Society of Plant Nutrition and Fertilizers, Researcher Jin Jiyun, Honorary Chairman of the Chinese Society of Plant Nutrition and Fertilizers, and Professor Cai Chongfa, Chairman of the Soil and Fertilizer Society of Hubei Province, participated in this seminar.

At this seminar, Hubei Yishizhuang Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., as a successful practitioner of the soil testing and formulated fertilization and fertilizer reduction with efficiency improvement projects in China, and as the only enterprise co-organizer invited by the association, participated in this seminar activity throughout the whole process.

At the seminar, Researcher Bai Youlu, Chairman of the Chinese Society of Plant Nutrition and Fertilizers, with the theme of "Efficient Fertilization and Agricultural Sustainable Development", analyzed the status and role of fertilizers in agricultural sustainable development, and elaborated on efficient fertilization technologies. In order to achieve the goal of zero growth of chemical fertilizers proposed by the Ministry of Agriculture, he called on all experts to take the initiative and offer their suggestions and strategies.

Professor Zhang Chenglin from South China Agricultural University focused on introducing the research progress of the integration technology of water and fertilizer, liquid fertilizers, and related fertilization equipment. He said, "The integration of water and fertilizer is a future trend. The core issues of scientific fertilization are the safe concentration, reasonable dosage, and nutrient balance. The integration technology of water and fertilizer can easily solve these three core issues, and it will play a very important role in achieving the reduction of chemical fertilizers and increasing their efficiency." As a senior expert in the R&D system of water-soluble fertilizers of Yishizhuang Company, the scientific research achievements and technologies mentioned by Professor Zhang Chenglin in this report will soon be applied to the production practice of water-soluble fertilizers of Yishizhuang Company.
Professor Lu Jianwei from Huazhong Agricultural University, the chief expert of the R&D platform of Yishizhuang in Hubei Province, delivered a special lecture with the theme of "Integration and Application of Key Technologies for High Yield and High Efficiency of Rapeseed". The report mainly explained three aspects: First, the changes in the planting methods of winter rapeseed over the past 60 years. Second, the key technologies for high yield and high efficiency production of winter rapeseed. Third, the application of the high yield and high efficiency model of winter rapeseed. Among them, in the promotion and application of the high yield and high efficiency model of winter rapeseed, the outstanding effect of Yishizhuang's special formulated rapeseed fertilizer was affirmed. At the same time, the large-scale application of the high yield and high efficiency technical model of rapeseed was prospected.
Professor Ruan Jianyun from the Tea Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, a cooperative expert in the R&D of Yishizhuang's formulated tea fertilizer, introduced the development status of the tea industry, the characteristics of tea nutritional requirements, and the nutrient management technology of tea gardens with the theme of "Nutrient Management of Tea Trees and High Efficiency Fertilization Technology". When explaining the nutrient management technology of tea gardens, he particularly emphasized soil testing and formulated fertilization. After years of experimental research, the best formula for special tea fertilizer is 18-8-12, and the exclusive production of this special formulated tea fertilizer is authorized to Hubei Yishizhuang Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd.

On the 19th, the attending experts went to the scientific research base in Shayang County, Jingmen City, Hubei Province in the rain to inspect the fertilization experiment for high yield and high efficiency of rapeseed and the application effects on a large scale. The on-site observation activity of the field experiment and demonstration was presided over by Professor Lu Jianwei. Professor Lu introduced the situation of the experiment and demonstration in detail to the experts present. The experts showed a strong interest in the one-time fertilization technology for rapeseed. During this period, Researcher Yang Liping also raised the issue of medium and trace elements contained in the formulated fertilizer. Professor Lu gave a serious answer. Yishizhuang's formulated rapeseed fertilizer itself contains the medium and trace elements required for the growth of rapeseed. For example, regarding the boron element, originally, the content of boron element in the soil here was only about 0.3ppm. Through the application of Yishizhuang's formulated fertilizer for many years, currently, the content of boron element in the soil has reached more than 0.4ppm, and the phenomenon of boron deficiency in rapeseed has been significantly improved. Through careful inspection, the experts fully affirmed the effect of Yishizhuang's formulated rapeseed fertilizer. At the same time, by means of soil testing and formula determination, as well as nutrient balancing, Yishizhuang's special formulated fertilizer has improved the fertilizer utilization rate and achieved the goal of reducing fertilizer application while increasing efficiency. Such valuable research is worthy of strong recommendation.
