Organic + Inorganic + Fully Water-Soluble: Yishizhuang Showed Up at the Ledong Honeydew Melon Conference with Multiple Cutting-edge Products.

    Even though it is winter, Hainan is still warm. In Ledong Li Autonomous County, rows of greenhouses can be seen stretching continuously everywhere. Inside the greenhouses, honeydew melons are hanging on the vines, bathing in the sunlight, and brewing the sweetness of a bumper harvest. When it comes to winter-planted honeydew melons in China, we look at Hainan, and when it comes to honeydew melons in Hainan, we look at Ledong. From October each year to May of the following year, Ledong's honeydew melons account for half of the national market. On November 24th, 2021, the 2021 China (Ledong) Honeydew Melon Industry Development Conference was successfully held in Ledong County. More than 300 big shots from the honeydew melon industry chain gathered together to offer suggestions for the high-quality development of Hainan's honeydew melon industry.


    The high quality and high yield of honeydew melons are inseparable from scientific nutritional management. Qu Wanzhou, the manager of the Hainan region of Hubei Yishizhuang Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yishizhuang"), introduced that as the "food" for grains, chemical fertilizers have made great contributions to ensuring China's food security. However, if chemical fertilizers are used excessively and unreasonably, it will also lead to a series of problems such as soil acidification, salinization, and compaction. And to grow high-quality honeydew melons, healthy soil conditions are definitely indispensable. During the process of nutritional management of honeydew melons, Yishizhuang has done a great deal of research work. After hundreds of experiments, Yishizhuang has summarized a plan for high yield and high quality of honeydew melons. Qu Wanzhou introduced that while supplementing nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium for honeydew melons, we should also pay attention to the supplementation of organic matter and medium and trace elements.


 


   As a fertilizer production enterprise possessing raw materials of fulvic acid, since its establishment in 1992, Yishizhuang has maintained close cooperation with scientific research institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Huazhong Agricultural University, and South China Agricultural University. It has overcome difficulties on the path of developing high-efficiency and environmentally friendly products, and in recent years, it has developed and launched fulvic acid organic-inorganic water-soluble fertilizer products. Qu Wanzhou introduced that Yishizhuang's fulvic acid organic-inorganic water-soluble fertilizer products contain "dual-source" fulvic acid from both mineral sources and biochemical sources, which can achieve mutual complementarity between the two sources, improve quality and increase efficiency. After being applied to honeydew melons, it can improve the soil, increase the sweetness of the honeydew melons, and enhance the quality of the honeydew melons.


 


Boss Zhu, a honeydew melon grower in Xiaoling Village, Dongfang City, Hainan Province, is one of the beneficiaries of using Yishizhuang fertilizers. He introduced that after using Yishizhuang fertilizers, the honeydew melons grew evenly, the rinds were dark green in color, the melons had a high sweetness, and the selling price was several cents more expensive per catty compared to those grown with ordinary fertilizers. It is understood that through continuous research and development, Yishizhuang Company has mastered a unique tower melting air-cooling crystallization process technology. For other tower compound fertilizers, adding 2% to 4% of organic matter is already the limit. However, through technological innovation, the company can produce compound fertilizers containing 15% of organic matter using the tower process, truly achieving a technological breakthrough of "organic + inorganic + fully water-soluble" in the tower process. Currently, this technology ranks among the top in the country.
