The highlight of this series of events lies in convincing, on-site yield measurement data.At the event site in Yueyang, Hunan, a yield evaluation was conducted on the early-maturing late rice variety Shengtaiyou 9712.The field with one-time base application of 40 kg/mu of Yishizhuang 47% (25-10-12) rice controlled-release fertilizer recorded a theoretical average yield of 596.1 kg/mu.By comparison, the plot applied with 40 kg/mu of conventional 45% compound fertilizer (15-15-15) as base fertilizer plus 10 kg/mu of urea as tillering topdressing achieved a theoretical average yield of only 516.4 kg/mu.While reducing total nutrient input by 16.8%, Yishizhuang rice controlled-release fertilizer increased yield by 15.4%.In Tuanfeng, Hubei, actual harvesting and yield weighing were carried out on rice variety Huazhen 115.The demonstration plot using Yishizhuang fertilizer achieved an average yield of 765 kg per mu, compared with 685 kg per mu in the control plot, representing a yield increase of 11.6%.Data from all locations strongly verify the remarkable advantages of reducing fertilizer application, raising grain yield and improving overall efficiency.
