From Farmland to Workshop - Yidu Agricultural Delegation Visits Yishizhuang

On May 27, a delegation consisting of leaders from Yidu Municipal Bureau of Agriculture, heads of the agricultural department in Honghuatao Town, representatives from Nanqiao Citrus Professional Cooperative, and large-scale growers paid a visit to Hubei Yishizhuang Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. They inspected the company’s 4 major production bases and Yipin Gong Citrus Demonstration Base on-site, and conducted in-depth exchanges on technologies for improving the quality and efficiency of the citrus industry, simplified citrus cultivation, and reducing fertilizer use while enhancing efficiency.

At Yishizhuang's four major production parks, the delegation gained a detailed understanding of the company's diversified fertilizer production lines, and focused on inspecting a series of products including citrus formula fertilizer, high-tower organic-inorganic water-soluble fertilizer, slow/controlled-release fertilizer, organic fertilizer and water-soluble fertilizer.

As a national high-tech enterprise, Yishizhuang relies on the technical support of scientific research institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Huazhong Agricultural University to innovate and develop multi-nutrient, medium-concentration, and functional formula fertilizers. Its "Citrus Formula Fertilizer", when applied through precise fertilization technology, has achieved remarkable results in improving fruit quality and building high-quality orchards.

During the technical exchange session, experts from the Yidu Municipal Bureau of Agriculture shared key technical points for critical stages of citrus cultivation. Teacher Deng Tianming, an agricultural chemistry specialist from Yishizhuang, focused on introducing the "fertilizer reduction and efficiency enhancement" plan for citrus cultivation. Through technologies such as soil testing-based formula fertilization and intelligent integrated water and fertilizer management, the plan reduces chemical fertilizer usage by more than 20% while increasing the sugar content and marketability rate of citrus fruits.

Subsequently, the inspection team went to the High-Quality Citrus Demonstration Base of Yipin Gong Agricultural Professional Cooperative in Dongshan Village. The base adopts the model of "machinery-friendly park, intelligent management, and precise pesticide and fertilizer application", is equipped with an intelligent monitoring system and unmanned plant protection equipment to achieve simplified management, and drives the quality improvement and income increase of thousands of mu of orchards in the surrounding areas through radiation.

The person in charge of Nanqiao Village Cooperative stated that this inspection has provided new ideas for the standardized and branded development of the local citrus industry. In the future, they will strengthen cooperation with Yishizhuang, promote scientific fertilization technology, and further enhance the market competitiveness of "Yidu Mandarin".
