On July 17, 2018, the agrochemical staff of Yishizhuang went to Wenjiaping Village, Langping Town, Changyang County and, together with the experts from the Alpine Vegetable Research Institute, inspected the Chinese cabbages of Boss Wei Tianjiong (15871626528), a demonstration household.

The fertilization demonstration plan for the Chinese cabbages in Boss Wei's field adopted a vegetable package fertilizer consisting of 70 kg of Yishizhuang 40% (16 - 8 - 16) potassium sulfate compound fertilizer and 200 kg of Yishizhuang bio - organic fertilizer. In contrast, the conventional fertilization for vegetable farmers was 150 kg of 45% (15 - 15 - 15) ordinary compound fertilizer plus 50 kg of an organic fertilizer of a certain brand. After comparing the pure nutrients, the Yishizhuang vegetable package fertilizer reduced the pure nutrients by 30 kg.

Boss Wei is very satisfied with the demonstration of Chinese cabbages and sums up several advantages:

First, the fertilizer effect is long - lasting, which is very obvious in the later stage of Chinese cabbages. In the comparison field, there is a common phenomenon of fertilizer deficiency and yellowing in the later stage, while the leaves of Chinese cabbages in the demonstration field are still in a healthy green state.

Second, the single - plant weight of Chinese cabbages is relatively heavier. The cabbages are tightly wrapped, with fewer empty leaves, which promotes the commercial rate.

Third, the yield is relatively higher.

Fourth, the amount of pure nutrients is reduced by 30 kg, achieving the policy of reducing chemical fertilizers and increasing efficiency.

Currently, the yields and qualities of these Chinese cabbages being inspected have surprised the demonstration households and surrounding vegetable farmers. These Chinese cabbage package fertilizer plans of Yishizhuang are all formulated according to the nutrient demand laws of crops. Through the combination of organic and inorganic fertilizers, while reducing the amount of chemical fertilizers, the quality and yield of crops are increased, and the soil is effectively improved. This is the result of years of experiments, providing vegetable farmers with more choices and guarantees.
