At 2:00 a.m. on July 19th, Maliang Town was hit by an extremely heavy rainstorm. The rainfall once reached 880.8 millimeters, making it the region with the highest rainfall in the country. This extremely heavy rainstorm brought serious waterlogging disasters to Maliang Town. The town has a total population of 41,000 and a cultivated area of 75,000 mu. The number of people affected by the disaster this time reached 36,000, and the area with complete crop failure reached 65,000 mu.

On the way to Maliang Town, the editor personally witnessed the flooded houses and the farmlands affected by the disaster. The fields were almost desolate, showing no signs of life in the sweltering summer. The stagnant water had all receded. The soybeans planted in large areas of the farmland had withered after being soaked by the flood and then exposed to the sun. It was obvious that the crops had completely failed. This is undoubtedly a major disaster for the farmers who make a living by farming.

After the disaster, the leaders of Maliang Town quickly formulated a post-disaster production self-help plan, printed and distributed more than 10,000 copies of promotional materials to farmers, and organized and carried out 3 agricultural knowledge training courses. At the same time, they conducted market research with the county leaders. According to market demand, they connected with relevant enterprises and guided farmers to carry out production self-help by adopting the methods of unified seed supply, unified formula fertilization, unified green prevention and control, unified post-disaster management, unified mechanical operation, and unified purchase according to orders, so as to minimize the losses of farmers' crops in this season.
The County Agricultural Bureau brought 6,300 kilograms of corn seeds and 180 tons of fertilizers to farmers. It also specially transferred 6 rotary tillage and fertilization machines, 4 corn seeding machines and 1 straw returning machine from the Xingnong Agricultural Machinery Service Professional Cooperative in Maliang Town. It provided integrated services from plowing, fertilizing, seeding to harvesting, and farmers didn't need to pay a penny. It is expected that the cost of one mu of land can be saved by 300 yuan.

On the morning of July 28th, Yichang Huifeng Biotechnology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Hubei Yishizhuang Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., delivered 30 tons of Xiyangyang bio-organic fertilizers which were donated free of charge.

In the morning, in the field of Tang Kaiyuan, a farmer from Group 3, Beigang Village, Maliang Town, the editor saw that six rotary tillers were seizing the opportunity to till the fields after the floodwaters receded. At 4 p.m., four corn seeding machines started simultaneously. Amid the rumbling sound of the machinery, grains of hope were sown into the tilled fields.

Hubei Longshang TV Station also carried out a series of follow-up interviews on the spot. When interviewing the farmer Tang Kaiyuan, Tang Kaiyuan told the reporter that the three brothers in his family had 11 mu of land here. They used to grow cotton, but this year they changed to grow soybeans. Unexpectedly, before they could see any profit, their crops were destroyed by a heavy rain. When they were at a loss and didn't know what to do, the Shayang County Agricultural Bureau and the Agricultural Machinery Bureau came with agricultural machinery and corn seeds, bringing them hope.
The reporter also interviewed Manager Yang, the representative of our caring enterprise, on the spot. During the interview, Manager Yang said, "It has always been a traditional Chinese virtue that when one place is in trouble, help comes from all quarters. Our enterprise donated 30 tons of bio-organic fertilizers to the disaster-stricken area. We also hope to offer our love to the affected people and express our most sincere concern for the people affected by the disaster with practical actions. Moreover, this kind of organic fertilizer plays a great role in soil improvement. We hope that the affected farmland can restore its soil fertility as soon as possible after applying the organic fertilizer to ensure the production of farmers. We also hope that there will be more caring enterprises in the society to provide help to the disaster-stricken areas and assist them in restoring their lives and production as soon as possible."

The person in charge of disaster relief of the county government expressed gratitude to the caring enterprises and recognized their acts of kindness.

When facing adversity and natural disasters, the strength of an individual is weak. However, when people unite, the power of the masses is formidable. Fortunately, with the help of the government, leaders, caring enterprises, and individuals after the disaster, Shayang County has been able to restore its life and production in an orderly manner.
Hubei Yishizhuang Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. hopes to pass on this love to everyone.
With love, Yishizhuang sets a good example, and we are always on the way.
