Eliminate Potential Accident Hazards and Build a Solid Safety Line of Defense

In accordance with the spirit of relevant documents of the Safety Committee of Yaqueeling Town, Yiling District, Yichang City, in order to vigorously implement the safety development strategy, popularize safety production knowledge, strengthen safety production awareness, effectively prevent various production safety accidents, and ensure a good safety production environment, Hubei Yishizhuang organized a "Eliminate Potential Accident Hazards and Build a Solid Safety Line of Defense" Safety Production Month activity in June 2020. A safety leading group was established with Zhao Jun, Assistant General Manager, as the team leader, and a series of safety production meetings were planned and carried out.

In the early stage of the activity, a major inspection and rectification of potential safety production hazards were carried out. The team leader and deputy team leader of the safety leading group personally led the team to go deep into the production front line. In accordance with the requirements of full coverage, zero tolerance, and emphasis on practical results, safety inspections were carried out in aspects such as high temperature, thunderstorm weather, fire, forklift operation, safety when getting on and off vehicles, equipment operation, and standardized operation. Potential accident hazards were promptly investigated and dealt with, thus plugging the loopholes in safety management.

On June 19th, the safety production awareness of all employees was strengthened. Liu Zufeng, the chairman of the company, organized relevant departments to hold an all-staff safety production meeting regarding the "Eliminate Potential Accident Hazards and Build a Solid Safety Line of Defense" activity in Yaqueeling Town in 2020. He conveyed to the employees the important ideology and great significance of the documents of the Yaqueeling Town Safety Production Committee, strengthened the employees' awareness of safety responsibilities, and encouraged them to actively participate in the Safety Production Month activity.

On June 27th, all employees were organized to participate in the "Safety Production Open Class" to publicize the decision-making arrangements, laws and regulations, rules and regulations, and safety skills regarding safety production made by the Party Central Committee and the State Council. Director Xi of the Safety Office of Yaqueeling Town was invited to give an on-site safety lecture in the company. An education and warning film on safety was played during the meeting. Director Xi specifically focused on the potential safety hazards in daily production work in aspects such as falling objects from high altitudes, electric shock, forklifts, and production equipment.

In addition, Li Xiao, a full-time instructor from the Lin'an Fire Protection Education and Promotion Center, was specially invited to conduct theoretical safety training in combination with the actual situation of the company, so as to further enhance the fire protection legal concept of all staff. Through on-site teaching of the correct use of fire-fighting equipment, fire prevention and extinguishing skills, common sense of escape and self-rescue, and evacuation skills, the goal of maximizing the prevention of fires and reducing personal injuries and property losses was achieved.

Safety is emphasized year after year, and peace is ensured year after year. The end of the Safety Production Month does not mean the relaxation of safety awareness prevention. Zhao Jun, the team leader of the safety leading group, led the manager of the Production Safety Department, safety officers, and team leaders to make a commitment and take an oath: earnestly perform safety management responsibilities, keep the alarm bell ringing, and accept the supervision of all employees!
