The Citrus Base of Yishizhuang Welcomes the Inspection and Guidance of the Expert Group

On November 6th, Researcher Zhao Kunsong from the Fruit and Tea Office of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Hubei Province, and Professor Yi Hualin, a post scientist of the National Modern Agricultural Citrus Industry Technology System and a professor at the College of Horticulture and Forestry Sciences of Huazhong Agricultural University, and their entourage came to Yiling District to guide the on-site preparatory work for the National Training Class on High-quality and High-efficiency Cultivation Technology of Citrus. They conducted on-site inspections of the hundred-mu citrus planting base of Yishizhuang in Dongshan Village, Yaqueling Town, and the citrus field base in Xijiagang.

Chen Zhenhua, Deputy Director of the Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Yiling District, Xie Heping, Director of the Yichang Tangerine Comprehensive Experimental Station, Liu Zufeng, Chairman of Hubei Yishizhuang Company, Zhen Xiangyu, General Manager, and other relevant leaders accompanied the inspection and introduced the cultivation and planting situation of the base during the visit. The experts provided guidance on aspects such as suitable local planting varieties, reasonable cultivation models, and pest control. They suggested improving the construction of facilities and equipment, strengthening precise management of water and fertilizers and green prevention and control of pests and diseases, paying attention to quality improvement, and building the base into a hundred-mu high-quality citrus orchard.
