At the end of September 2023, the Cultivated Land Quality and Fertilizer Workstation of Zengdu District, Suizhou City, in collaboration with Yishizhuang, conducted an experiment on reducing the application of chemical fertilizers and increasing efficiency for yellow peaches at the forestry base in Yinshanpo Village, Fuhe Town, Zengdu District, Suizhou. This experiment specifically set up five different fertilization treatments for comparative analysis, aiming to find the most suitable fertilization scheme for the growth of yellow peaches.
On August 27, the Cultivated Land Quality and Fertilizer Workstation of Zengdu District, Suizhou, together with the technical staff of Yishizhuang, visited the demonstration base for yield measurement and acceptance. The fruit trees were swaying in the wind, and fruits of various colors were hanging on the branches. The sight of abundant fruits was very pleasing. On that day, Jin Zhiguang, an agronomist from the Cultivated Land Quality and Fertilizer Workstation of Zengdu District, announced the latest results of the yellow peach yield measurement experiment. Through on-site measurement, the Yishizhuang formula fertilizer for fruit trees (Treatment 1 and Treatment 3) stood out among many fertilization treatments, demonstrating its excellent fertilizer efficiency and remarkable ability to improve the quality of yellow peaches.
In terms of fruit weight, the yellow peaches treated with Yishizhuang formula fertilizer for fruit trees (Treatment 3) had the heaviest single fruit, which was 47g heavier than that of the conventional fertilization (Treatment 4).
In terms of quality, the yellow peaches treated with Yishizhuang special fertilizer for fruit trees + organic fertilizer (Treatment 1) had the highest quality, with a sugar content of 16.6, which was 1.7 higher than that of the conventional fertilization (Treatment 4). This indicates that the yellow peaches have achieved a qualitative leap in many aspects such as taste, color, and nutritional value, greatly meeting the market demand for high-quality fruits.
"According to the comprehensive evaluation, Yishizhuang's formula fertilizer for fruit trees has significant advantages in the conversion of fruit weight and sugar content," said Jin Zhiguang, an agronomist from the Cultivated Land Quality and Fertilizer Workstation of Zengdu District.
The successful application of the fertilization scheme of Yishizhuang formula fertilizer for fruit trees not only verifies the importance of scientific fertilization in improving the quality and yield of agricultural products but also injects new vitality into the yellow peach industry in Zengdu District, Suizhou.
