Detailed Description:

1. Nutritional characteristics

There are three times of new shoot growth and rest in the whole year: overwintering bud germination - first growth (March to early May) - rest, which is called spring shoot; The second growth (early June to early July) - rest, called summer shoot; Third growth (mid-July to early October) - hibernation, called autumn shoot. The growth and resting periods of tea root and overground part are alternating with each other, that is, root growth is active when the growth of the upper part of the tea tree stops. When tea buds sprouted and buds and leaves grew vigorously, root growth was relatively weak.

2, need fertilizer characteristics

During the whole growth period of tea plants, the amount and proportion of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium required vary according to different factors such as soil, climate, varieties and planting methods. Nitrogen (N) 20 ~ 30 kg, phosphorus (P2O5) 4 ~ 6 kg, potassium (K2O) 6 ~ 10 kg per mu.

Tea trees love acid soil, and its nutrient requirements are ammonium philic (ammonium nitrogen), polyaluminum (promote nitrogen metabolism and phosphorus absorption, promote root development, enhance leaf photosynthesis), low chlorine (young trees avoid chlorine), calcium aversion (calcium is harmful). The nutrient requirement of tea plant is not consistent throughout the year. The nitrogen absorption is more from April to November, while the phosphorus absorption is mainly from April to July, and the potassium absorption is the most from July to September.

Zinc is a quality element of tea plant and a component of some enzymes in tea plant. It plays an important role in sugar conversion and protein synthesis in tea plant. Magnesium is the activator of various kinds of magnesium in tea plant, and is involved in the synthesis of theanine, an important index of tea quality. Boron is an indispensable component of calcium pectinate formation in tea plant and is directly related to the growth and differentiation of meristem cells. 3. Fertilization technology

Base fertilizer: It is recommended to apply strong high-nitrogen special formula fertilizer (22-8-12, 18-8-12), 40 ~ 60 kg per mu.

Topdressing: 40 to 50 days before picking spring tea, 10 ~ 15 kg urea or 10 ~ 15 kg high nitrogen special formula fertilizer should be applied; Summer tea topdressing (late May), after the end of spring tea, 10 ~ 15 kg urea applied in mu.

Ditch is covered with soil.
